‘Muslims are with Ankit’s family’

The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen president Asaduddin Owaisi lashed out against the killer of Ankit Saxena, a 23-year-old who was murdered allegedly by the father of a Muslim girl, who the deceased was in a relationship with, and said that Muslim community stands with the victim’s family. Addressing a public meeting in Erragadda, Mr. Owaisi said that killing is against the Constitution of India, as much against Islam. “You killed Ankit who was an innocent man,” Mr. Owaisi said.
“We are with Ankit’s family. We condemn this killing,” Mr. Owaisi reiterated.
